School Council Marathon Challenge to support Miss Hicks
On Friday, 27th March, our School Council will be leading a whole-school Marathon Challenge to support Miss Hicks as she prepares to run the London Marathon in aid of Henshaws, a charity supporting people with sight loss and disabilities.
Throughout the day, pupils will run, walk, skip, or jog laps of a course on the school grounds, working together to see how many marathons we can complete as a school.
Children are invited to come in sportswear or activewear, with a voluntary £1 donation (or more), which includes entry into a ‘Name the Bear’ competition and a bun or cake. The School Council will also be running a bake sale, and donations of baked goods would be greatly appreciated.
We’re looking forward to a fun and active day in support of a fantastic cause, cheering Miss Hicks on every step of the way!
